National Anthem and Music

K-3rd

  1. Make a new slide (Ctrl+M) and give a title having to do with anthems or music.
  2. Click here to find the national anthem of your country.
  3. Click on the correct continent.
  4. Click on your country's name.
  5. Click on "MP3 of National Anthem." Click on this link to see what I'm talking about...
  6. Scroll down to the blue rectangular box and right click on "Instrumental Anthem of Algeria" or whatever the title of your anthem is and select "Save Target As."
  7. Save the song in your "My Music" folder, this is inside of your "My Documents" folder.
  8. Go back to the website and click the back arrow button on your Internet Explorer page twice. This will take you back to the page that lists the countries on the continent.
  9. Click on "Lyrics."
  10. Right click on the lyrics and select "copy."
  11. Go to your PP and click on the correct slide.
  12. Right click and select "Paste" to put the lyrics on the page. Resize the image how you like.
  13. Copy the address of the website and add it your bibliography.
  14. Now you are going to put the song into your PP. Click on "Insert" and scroll down to "Movies and Sounds."
  15. Click on "Sound from file."
  16. The window that popped open probably took you to "My Documents." From there double-click on "My Music" to open that folder.
  17. Double-click on the national anthem of your country that you just downloaded.
  18. You probably received a message asking how you want the song to play. I would select "Automatically."
  19. You now have loaded a sound file. Right click on the song file and select "Edit sound object."
  20. Under "Display Options" check the box next to "Hide sound icon during slide show."
  21. Click "save" and you now added the national anthem to your slide show.

5th Grade
  1. Make a new slide (Ctrl+M) and give a title having to do with anthems or music.
  2. Click here to go to Yahoo Kids (formerly Yahooligans).
  3. You will have to search for your state song because I couldn't a good website that had all of the states' songs. When you search, type "State song of ___" or something like that to find the song.
  4. When you find the song right click on MP3 and select "Save Target As."
  5. Save the song in your "My Music" folder, this is inside of your "My Documents" folder.
